A view from Coynant Farm Park Guesthouse

You will be fascinated by our menageri of rare and unusual animals while you stroll our beautiful walks and visit a host of rare animals and birds.

Everywhere you will find panoramic views and absolute peace. This is a haven for walkers and birdwatchers or those who just want to enjoy quiet places and the freedom to splash your feet in the clear waters of a mountain stream with no-one except the grazing sheep to disturb your complete privacy.

Although Coynant enjoys seclusion, we are conveniently situated in the centre of an area noted for its immense variety of scenery and attractions, being less than 6 miles from Swansea's boundary, the M4 and good roads to every location.

Some attractions withing easy reach of the Farm Park:

The farm is on the old Gower pathway which is a walk the whole length of Gower, starting in the uplands and described "As having a wilder beauty of its own to Rhossili Bay at its southern most point. Rarely can such a variety of scenery be seen in such a short distance" (The Gower Society).

Worm's Head & Rhosilli Bay

Three Cliffs Bay

Gower Peninsula - Britain's first area of outstanding natural beauty, 20 miles of unspoiled bays and beaches in natural settings is on the doorstep.

Pembrey Beach - Seven miles of sand backed by forests and a country park along its whole length. We doubt if you will see a finer beach anywhere.

Dan-yr-Ogof Caves - featuring the huge Cathedral cave; many waterfalls considered unequalled in the country, national parks of lakes, forests and mountains. Interesting old market towns and so much more than could be seen in one holiday.

Swansea is a very fine shopping centre with its famous indoor market and the new Marina is well worth a visit where you will find the new Maritime Museum of Wales situated. There are also many fine castles, historic places and art galleries nearby.
